Synonyms:

tatra–thereafter; sattvam–mode of goodness; nirmalatvat–being purest in the material world; prakasakam–illuminating; anamayam–without any sinful reaction; sukha–happiness; sangena–association; badhnati–conditions; jnana–knowledge; sangena–association; ca–also; anagha–O sinless one.

Translation:

O sinless one, the mode of goodness being purer than the others, is illuminating, and it frees one from all sinful reactions. Those situated in that mode develop knowledge, but they become conditioned by the concept of happiness.

Material nature consists of the three modes�goodness, passion and ignorance. When the living entity comes in contact with nature, he becomes conditioned by these modes.

Translation:

O son of Kunti, It should be understood that all species of life are made possible by birth in this material nature, and that I am the seedgiving father.

Translation:

The total material substance, called Brahma, is the source of birth, and it is that Brahma that I impregnate, making possible the births of all living beings, O son of Bharata.

Translation:

Those who, by practicing this wisdom, have entered into My being are not born again at the cosmic dawn nor feel disturbed even during the cosmic night.

Translation:

The Blessed Lord said: Again I shall declare to you this supreme wisdom, the best of all knowledge, knowing which all the sages have attained the supreme perfection.

Explanation:

After explaining the truth and the procedure of how to leave materialistic attachment and reach to divinity God Krishna explains the understanding of devotional service in this chapter.

Adhyay 14 is the most important of all due to its content which is claimed to be superior to all other chapters of Gita and that is the reason we are starting with it. Understanding 14^th chapter means understanding whole universe and mechanisms of god while running it.

Here Supreme God explains about the pathway of transforming human kind from normality to spirituality by portraying different modes of nature, their act, their bond and how they give liberation. He also explains that this wisdom will give him best knowledge which is proven to give superior perfection.
